How I see it

The concept of showing the view from someone else’s perspective has been in my head for a long time. However, realising it in street photography is very difficult. Today I was in luck. This young man was having a good look around. His sight seem to focus on office buildings in a distance. This allowed me to focus on his glasses and the view in them.

Two men

I have spotted these two men sharing a single bench in Pitt Street Mall. There was an interesting similarity in the way they were sitting and yet there was a world of difference between them. Young, fashionable and what seems to be a very assertive young men in the foreground and in the background and older man in conservative cloths. They both looked somewhere ahead, possibly, simply at people passing by.

This is not technically perfect photo and I was ready to delete it but the captured scene won over the technical aspect.

Plastic bag monster

Plastic bags are recognisable issue when it comes to the environment. They do not degrade quick enough after use and often are the cause of wildlife deaths. Lush, a company which makes reusable bags was running this “Plastic bag monster” campaign in Pitt Street Mall. The reusable bags have been introduced to Australia now few years back but the use of plastic bags is still very high.
